El Muerte shall send troops also, I'm not sure how much but at least two. Last year all the finns used Rämä tabards but maybe this year we should design "national team" tabards and banner (blue and white?).

I think it would be better to go as several teams. There should be enough finnish participants to get two (or more) teams. Those teams could go to different sides to maximixe contacts to Estonians and avoid "maaottelu" if other side is mostly finnish participants. We can see each other in Finland in other events, so it would be nice to disperse us into smaller groups among Estonians and fight at their side and get to know them much better than in case of one big group (80 in one group is more than enough )

Let's wait until we have at least some confirmed participants until we start splitting into several teams. 80 is a stretch goal, anyhow (though it might be possible, I don't know...l

I definitely see Gnomus' point, though, and at this moment am slightly against the concept of national team tabards.

And only 1 AP from a bascinet with a grill?

It's unfortunate that 20mm fibreglass is out, our current spears cannot be used.

About lodging. Most players prefer to use tents. But... there are some extra options available if needed (inconvenient options but still)...

If there is need for it, we can organize indoor lodging for up to 60 people (well it would be a bit cramped). There is a building with a hall and a fireplace nearby - but nothing else (no showers, kitchen etc.). But you'd have to confirm this with us, well in advance. It is still a short drive or a long walk from the game area. This option is not available for a single person or a small group.

7 km from the area is Jõgeva, a moderate size town which surely has at least some lodging possibilities.

And last but not least, the location is a 45min. drive from one of the largest cities in Estonia (Tartu) - there you could have all the luxury you are willing to pay for.

I will make a special topic for rules discussion but a quick answer here: "No points for gambeson. Bascinet with a sufficient grill will give 2 AP.
20mm fiberglass is definitely out - use 20mm bamboo for polearms."

Actually a civil servant is a person working for the goverment ("valtion virkamies" in Finnish), not a politician.

You'd have to start a serious recruiting program though - for in 2015 you'd have to haul about 1.3 million fighters across the gulf, if the trend continues.
